Our Story
The idea to sell bamboo toothbrushes came to be when we came across a plastic toothbrush buried in the sand at my local beach. This made us realize that like other plastic waste, toothbrushes can also end up in our oceans and disrupt the already fragile marine ecosystem.
In order to progress towards a brighter future, maybe consider switching your traditional plastic toothbrush into reusable bamboo toothbrush!
Why Switch To Bamboo Toothbrushes?
In order to reduce the use of plastic, bamboo toothbrushes are a great alternative. They are made by sustainable materials meaning all parts of the toothbrush can be reused. To be more specific, the handles of the toothbrushes we sell can be composted and the nylon bristles can be recycled. Bamboo toothbrushes also have a lower carbon footprint meaning no oil are been extracted and used to make the handle of the toothbrush. Evidently, bamboo toothbrush handles take around six months to compost and biodegrade, while a plastic one can take up to hundreds of years to completely break down.
